Il sistema funziona senza contatto in un processo in cui il movimento del materiale viene rilevato utilizzando l’effetto Doppler.
Il FlowJam è un dispositivo sicuro all’interno del processo, la tecnologia a microonde utilizzata può penetrare il rivestimento del materiale sul sensore e rilevare in modo affidabile il movimento del materiale dietro di esso. Se le pareti del contenitore, le custodie o le tubazioni non sono metalliche, è possibile misurare dall’esterno”.
